Online Counseling for Relationship Issues
Save Your Relationship or Exit a Toxic One
Is Your Relationship Worth Saving — Or Is It Time to Let Go?
If you’re feeling confused, hurt, or emotionally tired, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where they keep asking themselves, “Should I keep trying… or should I walk away?” Some days you love your partner, and other days you feel drained, unheard, or stuck in the same fights.
In the Indian context, it can feel even harder — because family expectations, social pressure, and “log kya kahenge” often add another layer of stress. You may be trying to keep peace for everyone, while silently carrying the emotional weight yourself.
At Manochikitsa, our online relationship counselling gives you a safe, private space to talk openly — without judgement. Together, we help you understand what’s really happening in your relationship, improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and decide your next steps with clarity.
Whether your goal is to rebuild your bond or exit a toxic situation respectfully, we support you step by step.
Save or Exit Your Relationship
Common Relationship Issues We Work On
- Feeling unheard or misunderstood – you explain your side, but it turns into an argument or silence.
- Frequent fights over the same things – the issue changes, but the pain feels the same every time.
- Emotional distance – living together, yet feeling lonely, disconnected, or emotionally unsafe.
- Trust issues or cheating – doubts, overthinking, betrayal, and the struggle to rebuild trust.
- Family or in-law pressure – “adjust karo” expectations, interference, or constant comparisons.
- Lack of closeness – missing care, affection, emotional warmth, or physical intimacy.
- Money & future stress – conflicts about finances, responsibilities, goals, or priorities.
- Toxic patterns – control, manipulation, constant blame, gaslighting, or emotional abuse.
- Confusion before marriage – fear of commitment, family pressure, or doubts about the relationship.
- Breakup/separation pain – grief, guilt, anger, and rebuilding your confidence after it ends.
If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone. Many relationships struggle quietly. In counselling, we help you understand what’s really happening, what you can change, and what you should not tolerate — so you can move forward with clarity.
Save Your Relationship: Rebuild Connection, Not Just “Compromise”
- Communicate without fights – learn practical ways to express emotions and needs calmly.
- Resolve conflicts properly – stop the repeat cycle and handle disagreements with respect.
- Rebuild trust step by step – repair emotional safety after hurt, doubt, or misunderstandings.
- Set boundaries with family – protect your relationship while managing Indian family expectations.
If you both want to try, counselling can help you reconnect, understand each other better, and bring back peace at home — with real tools you can use daily.
Exit a Toxic Relationship: Choose Yourself, Safely and Respectfully
- Spot unhealthy behavior clearly – control, manipulation, emotional abuse, or constant disrespect.
- Build emotional strength – reduce fear, guilt, and confusion so decisions feel steady.
- Plan the next steps safely – especially when family, finances, or social pressure is involved.
- Heal and rebuild your life – process the pain, regain confidence, and move forward peacefully.
Leaving is not “giving up.” Sometimes it’s self-respect. We support you with clarity and care — so you don’t feel alone while making a difficult decision.
Family and Cultural Counseling
When Family Starts Affecting Your Relationship
In India, relationships are rarely just between two people. Parents, in-laws, relatives, and traditions often become part of daily life. While family support can be beautiful, constant interference can also create stress, arguments, and emotional distance between partners.
- Feeling controlled or judged by family members.
- Frequent conflicts about living arrangements, finances, or responsibilities.
- Pressure to “adjust” even when your emotional needs are ignored.
In counseling, we help you communicate clearly, set respectful boundaries, and protect your relationship without disrespecting your family.
Counseling That Understands Indian Culture
Many people hesitate to seek therapy because they fear being misunderstood or judged for their values. At Manochikitsa, our psychologists understand Indian family systems, social expectations, and emotional realities.
- We respect traditions while helping you build a healthy personal life.
- We consider religious beliefs, community pressure, and generational differences.
- We guide you without forcing Western ideas that may not suit your situation.
Our goal is not to break families — but to reduce emotional pain and bring clarity and balance into your decisions.
Private, Comfortable & Online Support
Asking for help is not weakness — it is self-respect. Our online counseling is designed to fit real Indian lives.
- Attend sessions from home, without explaining to relatives.
- No travel, no clinic visits, no uncomfortable questions.
- Suitable for working professionals, homemakers, students, and people living abroad.
You deserve a safe space where your feelings matter — even when the world expects you to stay silent.

Take the First Step Towards Clarity and Emotional Balance
Struggling with relationship issues doesn’t have to feel like the end of the road. With professional support, you can save your relationship or gather the strength to move on from toxicity.
Let our experts at Manochikitsa guide you to a happier, healthier future. Your emotional well-being matters, and we're here to help you take control of your life.
Can You Join Alone or With Your Partner?
Yes — you can start counseling either individually or together as a couple. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to begin. What matters is that you take the first step for your emotional well-being.
- Individual Sessions: If your partner is not ready, unavailable, or you feel safer talking alone, you can begin by yourself. Many people start this way to gain clarity, confidence, and emotional strength.
- Couple Sessions: If both of you are willing, you can attend sessions together to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and understand each other better with the guidance of a psychologist.
- Flexible Option: You may start individually and later invite your partner when you feel comfortable — or combine both individual and joint sessions if needed.
Whether you come alone or together, your concerns are taken seriously and handled with complete confidentiality and respect. Our focus is on helping you feel emotionally safe, heard, and supported at every step.
When Should You Seek Help?
Many people wait too long before asking for support — hoping things will improve on their own. But relationships don’t heal just by staying silent or adjusting endlessly. You deserve peace, clarity, and emotional safety.
- When the same fights keep repeating and nothing really changes.
- When you feel emotionally tired, anxious, or low because of the relationship.
- When you are staying only because of family pressure, children, or “log kya kahenge”.
- When communication has turned into silence, sarcasm, or constant arguments.
- When trust has been broken and you don’t know how to rebuild it.
- When you feel controlled, disrespected, or emotionally unsafe.
- When you are confused about whether to stay or leave.
- When you have no one to talk to openly without being judged.
Seeking counseling doesn’t mean your relationship has failed. It simply means you care enough about yourself — and your future — to understand what is healthy for you. You don’t have to carry everything alone.

Good Experience
I reached out to Lizu ma'am when my marriage was going through a rough patch. Her guidance helped me understand my emotional triggers and improve communication with my wife. She explained things in such a calm, relatable way. Things are slowly getting better, and I’m thankful for her support.

She helped me organize my thoughts, manage stress, and slowly rebuild a healthier routine. I loved how she never rushed me, and genuinely understood what I was going through. She’s a blessing for young people like me struggling silently.

I liked that she listened to me very patiently . I liked that she gave me simple suggestions and tips to follow , some of which I was able to follow leading to improved moods .

Feel good and positive
She was patient, professional, and made me feel comfortable sharing my concerns. She listened attentively and explained things clearly.
Gained confidence that something good will happen and I have a place to share my thoughts and work on it for better mental health
She was sounding a bit like an aged woman supporting the old narratives ….i am not saying she is bad….i am just saying she is slightly oldish sometimes in her thoughts.
Patient , kind and really holds space well for me
This been my first ever therapy session. I was a bit nervous and sceptical, but she was warm and non-judgmental. And she heard me patiently, and she motivated me also, and i'm feeling really good and really light after talking to her
As usual, comforting and amazing
I satisfied this session.
Today was my second session with Bharathi ma’am, I feel so light and positive already. She was able to identify my issues in the first session itself. She helped me identify myself better. All things we think as issues needn’t always be so. Every question she asked me kept me thinking a lot about myself. She made me identify things I should truly be grateful for. I will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for the comfort of sharing something with someone as close as your mother.
Really valuable feedbacks and very understanding. Tries to understand the problem with examples and gives real life anecdotes as well. Well experienced

Need to have more sessions in future.
She is very patient and always willing to help! Highly recommended.
Dr. Surabhi Lodha made me realize how my past experiences were shaping the way I attach in relationships. I used to feel constantly anxious about being left. She helped me develop emotional security and healthier boundaries. Her sessions were deep yet practical. Truly grateful for her support.
I started therapy with Surabhi Mam when my anxiety became overwhelming. Her way of gently challenging my perfectionist patterns was eye-opening. She’s kind, thoughtful, and very skilled in helping you build long-term tools.
She was wonderful but I felt like the session was too short to achieve any productive measures. However this is not her fault and more of your system's fault.
After a tough breakup, I had zero confidence and didn’t know how to deal with my emotions. Dr. Surabhi was very kind and non-judgmental. Talking to her felt like a reset. She helped me rebuild my self-worth from scratch.
I was dealing with frequent panic attacks and overwhelming anxiety when I started sessions with Dr. Surabhi Lodha. She helped me understand my triggers and guided me with simple yet effective techniques to calm myself. Her way of explaining things makes you feel empowered rather than broken. I genuinely feel more in control now.

For a starter, I felt it easy to talk to her which made the session flow naturally. That's all for now but I look forward to more sessions
Very supportive
Lisa Ma’am was very supportive and encouraged me to understand the problem.
From the very first session, she created a safe, non-judgmental space where we both felt heard and respected. Her approach is professional yet very empathetic, making it easy to open up about difficult topics. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for guidance.
Sessions with Lisa helped me see through things clearly and move forward. It was easy talking to her, no judgement. She came up with alternative ways to handle the situation. I wished I had done this sooner but it is never too late.
When my partner and I first reached out to Lisa, we were both guarded, exhausted, and honestly unsure whether therapy could help us. We had tried talking things through on our own for months, but we kept hitting the same walls. Booking that first virtual session was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made as a couple.
From the very beginning, Lisa created an environment where both of us felt genuinely heard, even through a screen. Not judged, not rushed, and never made to feel like one of us was “the problem.” We were skeptical at first about whether online sessions could feel as personal or effective as in-person therapy, but Lisa put those doubts to rest almost immediately. That human connection came through effortlessly.
We both came in with very different communication styles and emotional needs, and she navigated that with remarkable skill and sensitivity. What stood out most was the structured yet deeply personal approach. Sessions never felt like generic advice or textbook exercises. Lisa took the time to truly understand our dynamic, our history, and what we each needed to feel safe in the relationship. She gave us practical tools we could actually use in everydaylife, not just during our sessions.
There were appointments that were difficult and emotionally raw, and even virtually, Lisa held that space with professionalism and warmth in equal measure. She challenged us when we needed it, and supported us when we were vulnerable. That balance of honesty and compassion is rare and the fact that she delivered it all online made it even more impressive.
Several months later, we communicate better, argue less destructively, and genuinely enjoy each other again. Our relationship isn’t perfect, no relationship is but we now have the tools and the trust in each other to work through hard moments without falling apart.
I am truly grateful to Lisa Shukla ma’am for her guidance and support. She has an exceptional ability to listen patiently, understand deeply, and analyze my mental barriers, challenges, and inhibitions—especially when I feel stuck in difficult situations.
Her approach is always logical, practical, and easy to apply in real life. At the same time, she remains kind, empathetic, and genuinely supportive, which makes a significant difference.
Thank you so much, ma’am, for your valuable guidance. It truly means a lot.
To much satisfied with this session and her nature is too good. If you need any counselling session I suggest you to take it, from Lisa Shukla Mam .
