We understand that circumstances may change, and you might need to cancel your appointment. To ensure a smooth process, we invite you to review our Refund and Cancellation Policy outlined below.

Interpretation and Definitions Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions.
The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural.


For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Inner Psyche Wellbeing Services Private Limited.
  • Service refers to the Phone call, Video Call, and Chat Counseling.
  • Website refers to Manochikitsa, accessible from

    At, we aim to offer flexible booking options while maintaining a commitment to the availability and time of our therapists. Below are the terms related to appointment cancellations:

    Non-availability on the Scheduled Date: If you are unable to avail yourself of the Phone Call Counseling, Video Call Counseling, or Chat Counseling service on the date of the appointment for any reason, such appointment will be deemed canceled. It is important to note that in these cases, no partial or full refunds will be issued. This policy is in place because our therapists reserve specific timeslots exclusively for clients, and last-minute cancellations prevent these slots from being offered to other clients who could benefit from the service.

    Right to Cancel Up to 2 Hours Before the Appointment: You have the right to cancel your appointment up to 2 hours before it is scheduled to start. This allows us some flexibility to possibly allocate the time to another client. Cancellation does not need to be supported by any specific reason, but it must be communicated clearly to ensure that both parties have sufficient notice.

    How to Cancel Your Appointment

    To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision with a clear and unequivocal statement. You can do this in one of the following ways:

    • Email: Send your cancellation request to [email protected]. Please include your name, appointment date and time, and a brief note stating that you wish to cancel the appointment.
    • Direct Cancellation via Confirmation Email: You can also cancel your appointment directly through the cancellation link provided in your appointment confirmation email. This link is designed to facilitate a quick and easy cancellation process.

    By providing multiple cancellation options, we aim to make the process as straightforward and accommodating as possible, reflecting our commitment to client satisfaction and flexibility.

    Refund Policy


    Upon a valid cancellation of the appointment by the client, we will refund the payment using the same method originally used for the transaction. If the payment was made by Credit/Debit Card or Net-Banking, the refund will be processed back to the same Credit/Debit Card or Net-Banking account. Refunds are typically processed within 3 working days. Please note that we are not responsible for any delays in credit to the Cardholder’s credit card account or the account holder’s bank account as this is managed by the Cardholder’s issuing bank.

    Non-Refundable Taxes and Convenience Charges: After one month from the date of the transaction, any taxes and convenience charges are non-refundable. This policy is due to administrative costs and the taxes that are remitted to governmental authorities early in the transaction cycle. These fees cover transaction processing and operational expenses, which are incurred up front and are non-recoverable.

    Session Plan Validity and Refunds: Please be advised that the validity of any session plan purchased is limited to 6 months from the date of purchase. Refunds cannot be processed for any session plans once this 6-month validity period has expired. We encourage our clients to schedule their sessions within this timeframe to fully utilize the services they have paid for.

    No Refunds for Completed Sessions: We do not offer refunds for sessions that have already been completed. This policy is in place because our therapists allocate specific times solely for providing services to each client, which involves thorough preparation based on the client’s unique needs and history. As such, the session fee compensates our therapists for their professional commitment and time, irrespective of the client’s subjective perception of the outcome.

    Cancellation of Discounted Session Plans

    If a session plan is cancelled, the client will be charged based on the original value of the individual sessions, not the discounted plan rate. This means the sessions already used will be recalculated at their standard rate.

    For example:

    If you purchase an 8-session plan for 5999 INR (excluding tax), and the standard single session fee is 799 INR (excluding GST), but you decide to cancel after attending 5 sessions:

    • The cost for the 5 sessions will be recalculated at the standard rate of 799 INR each, totaling 3995 INR.
    • The refund will be the difference between the total amount paid (5999 INR) and the recalculated cost for the sessions attended (3995 INR).
    • Thus, you will receive a refund of 2004 INR (excluding any applicable taxes and convenience fees).

    By providing this example, we aim to ensure complete transparency and understanding of how refunds are processed for cancelled discounted session plans.

    Setting Realistic Expectations: It is important to understand that therapy is a process, often requiring multiple sessions to fully address complex emotional and psychological issues. Therapy is not a quick fix but a therapeutic journey that varies from one individual to another. While our therapists strive to provide the best possible support, the effectiveness can depend significantly on various factors including the client’s active participation and the complexity of the issues.

    Feedback and Continuity of Care: If a session does not meet your expectations, we encourage you to discuss this with your therapist. Feedback can be invaluable for adjusting therapeutic approaches and strategies. If the issue persists, consider a different therapist or approach within our platform to better suit your needs.

    We encourage our clients to view therapy as a collaborative effort and a commitment to personal growth. While immediate solutions may not always be feasible, our goal is to assist you in developing strategies and insights that contribute to long-term well-being.
