Aakansha Shukla is a counselling psychologist with extensive therapy experience. She strongly believes that therapy isn’t about fixing someone or offering quick solutions. For her, it’s about creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted—just as you are.
Her approach is warm, grounded, and non-judgmental. She focuses on building a genuine connection with her clients, holding space with gentle listening, thoughtful observation, and deep respect for each person’s unique journey. Aakansha believes in walking alongside her clients—not ahead of them—offering support, insight, and compassion along the way.
Over the time she has worked with clients she has had many people from different backgrounds and supported them through a wide variety of challenges. These include managing stress, anxiety, and burnout; navigating depression and emotional lows; coping with relationship or family issues; healing from childhood trauma or abuse; and finding clarity during life transitions. She also works with individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, grief, loneliness, parenting difficulties, emotional regulation struggles, and concerns around body image, academic pressure, and time management.
She offers sessions in both English and Hindi, and aims to make therapy feel like a collaborative, human experience. Outside of therapy, Aakansha enjoys watching shows, reading, painting, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. These simple joys keep her grounded and connected, and she brings the same realness into her work with clients.
Whether someone is navigating something heavy, feeling stuck, or just looking to understand themselves better, Aakansha offers a space that feels warm, thoughtful, and human.
